Van James Mentor Youth Hunt 2009

This years hunt took place on December 13th, 2009 and was a great success with eight youth participating. Qualifications for the youth hunt required each hunter to write an essay stating why they would like to come to the preserve.  To be chosen for the hunt they must be between the ages of 11-17 years of age and completed a hunters safety course.  Our objective is to provide young hunters with a learning experience on bird hunting over a gun dog, along with a guide and a mentor.

To register for 2010 hunt we request a written essay on why you would like to be choosen.  Email your request to
mindy@ringneckridge.com.  Any new sponsers will be welcomed.  Out next hunt will be December 2010.
